'I'm vaccinated. Are you?'
Check your vaccination card
To mark European Immunization Week, the Ministry of Health is launching the 'I'm vaccinated. Are you?' awareness campaign aimed at adults.
It serves to remind adults that the protection offered by early childhood immunisations must be topped up with regular booster vaccinations.
Every 10 years: vaccinations for polio, tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough
It is important for adults to consider getting the combined dTaP/IPV booster vaccine every 10 years, as it provides protection against:
- diphtheria;
- tetanus;
- whooping cough;
- polio.
Adults born after 1980: measles, mumps, rubella
Given the increasing number of measles cases, any adults born after 1980 who have not received 2 doses of the combined measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, should consider getting a booster.
It is never too late to be vaccinated
