On-duty service of general practitioners: on-duty medical centres
On-duty medical centres have been established in order to provide a stand-in service for general practitioners, for patients requiring care outside of working hours, at weekends or on public holidays. They fulfil this stand-in role when medical practices are closed.
They offer a continuously available medical service, but are not emergency services.
If you have a medical emergency, you must always dial 112.
